WSH Seasoning - Background

BACKGROUND: On June 25, 1987 Williams Smoke House was erected in a small neighborhood in Houston, TX. Family owned and operated by my parents Willie and Hattie Williams and myself, the youngest of three sons, Cedric. For twenty years Williams Smoke House produced some of the best Bar-B-Que not only in Houston, but also in the State of Texas. I'll go as far to say in the country as well. As soon as you walked in the front door you could see the pedigree of this restaurant. I called it the "Wall of Fame". Numerous plaques and awards outlined the wall showing the accomplishments of Williams Smoke House. I caught several first time customers just standing and seemingly mesmerized by what they were reading. They knew they were going to be in for a treat. As the word spread as to how good our Bar-B-Que was, people came from near and far just to get that down home Bar-B-Que flavor.

Williams Smoke House was an icon in the community and in the city. Disaster struck in the early morning hours of Decemberr 18, 2007. A date I will never forget. Fire destroyed Williams Smoke House. Twenty years of hard work and dedication went up in smoke. You can no longer get that flavored to the bone Bar-B-Que that Williams Smoke House used to serve up, but you can get the seasoning that was used to flavor their meat. Made from a homemade recipe of secret spices guaranteed to wake up the flavor in your Bar-B-Que or whatever you are cooking. This seasoning was the backbone of our world class Bar-B-Que, it brought out the true flavor in whatever meat we were smoking. The term "Finger Licking Good" took on a new meaning because of this seasoning. Williams Smoke House could not have been a successful business for twenty years without this seasoning. An added bonus is that this seasoning isn't for Bar-B-Que only. Go ahead and sprinkle it on whatever you're cooking and taste the flavor come to life.

Williams Smoke House Bar-B-Que and All Purpose Seasoning is the only seasoning you will need in your pantry. In this way the legacy of Williams Smoke House will live on.
